The MAYA-GUESTHOUSE
is situated in Bodnath ("Boudha"; "Little
Tibet"), the famous pilgrim destination in
the heart of Kathmandu valley.
The giant ancient Stupa nearby is surrounded by many
mysterious Tibeto-Buddhist monasteries, colourful
markets, manufactories of famous Nepal carpets and treasure chests
of Tibetan handicraft.
Here you find EC cashpoints, moneychanger, cyber cafes, and many
restaurants with (amasing cheap!) international food.
The MAYA-GUESTHOUSE is a family-owned hotel
which offers personal atmosphere, clean accommodation and excellent
food.

as breakfast are included. All rooms in the new wing have carpet floor,
bathroom and balcony with view to the beautiful garden. At the MAYA-GUESTHOUSE
you are always heartily welcomed. A small library, an English
newspaper as well as international phone and fax service, internet and
email access are at your disposal.
The garden is an oasis of
tranquility in busy Bodnath with his famous Stupa, the many Buddhist
monasteries, handicraft manufactories and shops.

In our trekking office (at the garden) we organise all kind of
tours in Nepal:
City sightseeing and excursions in the Kathmandu
valley; bicycle and motorcycle trips; overland excursions with jeep or
bus; trekking and mountaineering; rafting and paragliding; horse trips
and Tibet excursions.
Here we handle various equipment, as tents, mattresses,
cooking gears, bins, lamps, ropes, rafts, paragliders etc.
